Our Story
About The Link Academy
Established in 2011, The Link Training Academy was founded on the idea that training and development should not be a ‘One Size Fits All’ approach. We focus on employing highly skilled, fully qualified and motivated educators and equipping them with the tools and techniques they need to deliver bespoke training based on the specific requirements of the learner, employer and the industry you work in. Our journey began in the Huddersfield village of Lindley, working specifically with learners from the Hairdressing and Barbering industries, and our success here allowed us to grow quickly in size and reputation. The move to our new training centre in Huddersfield town centre in 2014 allowed us to bring our individualised brand of training to a wider market including leadership and management, business administration and education. We have successfully worked with employers across the West Yorkshire region to develop their workforce and supporting them to access and use the apprenticeship levy effectively. Our most recent success came in supporting Airedale NHS trust in facilitating the employment and training of 5 new business administration apprentices in 2019.

The Close Contact Services guidance has been updated for England.
When step 3 comes into force (due to start no earlier than 17 May):
• You will be able to provide reading materials such as newspapers and magazines in client waiting areas.
• You will be able to provide refreshments in line with the guidance for restaurants, pubs, and bars.
The government have committed to giving one week’s notice before step 3 begins.
